Here I am, a California girl, in the midst of Cleveland all my myself. I feel so grown up. I’m feeling pretty cool about traveling by myself I’m here to learn how to make shoes. YES, you read correctly, I will be on the working end of a hammer to create some art of my own, two pairs of shoes that I personally constructed. I’ve been designing shoes for some time now and this is a big dream of mine to be here at the International Shoemaking Design studio here in Cleveland. I’m going to be taking a bunch of pictures i’ll add my progress plus my first day of ‘school’ outfit. EEEEE soooo excited.

I got this couch off of craigslist for 20 bucks…there is a cushion on it but I got too excited to start my project so I forgot to picture it all together.

the outcome! It took me a day and a half and I suffered some allergies ripping apart the couch but I love it and it was worth it. If you can’t find something that suites you, create it for yourself and you will happier.

My name is sophia, and I’m a college theatre student. I LOVE shoes, fashion, interior design, crafts,  and jewelry.
